Jan 15th, 2022.
Me, myself, and I.
Solo Saturday ride to socially distance as Omicron variant is hitting its peak.
thought- better safe than sorry.
This photo blog will basically be a bunch of photos of my bike.
Started off straight out of my door, in the San Fernando Valley.
2017 Trek Emonda ALR 6 Pro on DT Swiss DiCut ARC 1400 deep wheels
Quick coffee stop at Peet’s in Porter Ranch
Then off to the next town, Moorpark.
Some people is really good at making photos on a train track.
Me? .. not so much.
Just before riding out of Moorpark.
From Moorpark to Thousand Oaks, I started riding into Malibu Canyons. Didn’t take too many photos but here’s a gem.
I am most proud of this photo, and I think Trek / DT Swiss would be too.
Here’s another angle
I attempt a few more captures here and there but with the cloudy/rainy weather, it just didn’t happen.
So I kept riding until I hit the ocean.
I kept trying.
Trying to find the angle
To see something out of the ordinary
To be awed
Maybe I was just lonely riding solo, maybe it was the weather, maybe something else.
But the captures stopped here.
Except on my way back back the valley, I saw this.
97.51 miles
5,564 ft gain
6:06:02 moving time
