First ride of 2022

I usually bang it out indoor on the turbo trainer.

But since it’s the first of a new year, I thought I’d ride outdoors- socialize and sight see.

*and also do my favorite thing- capturing moments.

Pictured above, Drake Deuel. We met up in the valley to meet the group in Malibu.

Met up with the group, and right back into climbing up the next, Latigo canyon road.

Spots of semi dry dirt road since it had been raining a lot lately.

Some fast descends - really happy I managed to capture this moment. It was fast paced!

Some more descents with Tony on one of the most beautiful backgrounds of the day.

People are smiling here but I bet most of us were thinking about coffee and pastries.

Made it to Joules and Watts where they serve some of the most pricey food and drinks. But it was good!

Checking, plugging in, refreshing, mapping, memeing, who knows.

And the final nice background with the only 2 people I knew from the group- Drake and Iz.

Overall a solid ride to start the year.
